From a single fax machine in 1989, to becoming the trusted source for established brands.
With a lifetime of entrepreneurial experience, Robert Liu founded the company on the belief that the key to building successful businesses is to bring together great people that share the same passions. This is particularly crucial in the hospitality industry, where having a strong relationship with all stakeholders is a critical cornerstone to success. As a testament to this, Robert’s relationships with many of our suppliers go back over thirty years.
From his start in supplying office furniture for Artwright in 1989, Robert identified the need for high quality, high volume furniture and expanded the business into retail wholesaling, eventually establishing himself as a vendor with Costco, in addition to supplying for independent clients. As the company’s reputation for quality, service and exceptional value grew, Robert transitioned the business to focus on supplying FF&E to hotel and restaurant groups, developing a deep understanding of the particular needs of these environments.
Taking up the mantle from their father, LIV Hospitality brand was eventually established by his sons, Robson and Robin, as the continuation of their father’s legacy. Since 2017, Robson has lead the team as Managing Director, with a commitment to continuing the family business’ legacy of procuring high quality, cost effective furniture backed by the strong relationships with all clients for which LIV Hospitality is known. From its founding until today, the family has continued to strengthen their relationships with diverse hotel groups including Marriott, Paradox, Best Western, Coast Hotels and more.
